Michele will discuss her book When Evil Rules, a non-fiction novel detailing the Cape Cod
murder by a trash man, conflicts in the events that lead to a conviction, and how the political climate
surrounding this case may have similarities to how the witch trial history may have affected the works
of Nathaniel Hawthorne. Michel is a well-known investigative reporter, talk show host and the author of
